Philspace Ltd is a family business, which was established in 1975. We are one of the South's leading suppliers of temporary portable accommodation. We currently employ 25 staff. We operate a fleet of over 1700 units which are transported using our own Hiab vehicles for which all our drivers have their slingers / banksman cards and certificates of competency for the cranes which they carry in their vehicles at all times. We also operate two Self Storage yards at Wickham and Bitterne, supplying containers for customers’ to store their own goods in.

for Hampshire and the surrounding areas with just a straightforward application
form to complete in order to commence hire. We can supply anything from a two
storey modular building meeting the latest fire, safety and building
regulations to a small tool store. Units can be designed from new or
refurbished to the customer’s own specific requirements either to purchase or
rent. We also buy and sell used cabins and containers.
Philspace Ltd is a leading supplier of temporary and portable site accommodation and require a 7.5T Delivery/Collections Driver & Maintenance Operative to join this progressively expanding company.
Main duties will involve the delivery and collection of mobile welfare units, temporary fencing, chemical toilets, portable showers and staircases to and from our customers sites driving a 7.5t van, Towing of small mobile welfare units to and from sites using 7.5t van or 4x4. In addition to working as part of a team to clean, maintain and repair our fleet of temporary site accommodation; Containers, Canteens, Offices, Toilet Blocks, and Welfare Units.
Working Hours: Good work life balance hours: 7.30am till 4pm, Monday to Friday - Basic 40 hours per week, paid Weekly. Flexible overtime and occasional weekend work. Additional hours available if requested.

Qualifications: Driving Licence is essential. Successful applicant will be required to attend various courses with our training providers. C1+E Driving Licence with CPC would be an advantage, however the successful applicant will be put through the relevant training if required. Supervision will be given until competent if required. Would ideally suit an individual with a variety of skills from a general maintenance and repair background
Experience: Ideally with a minimum of 2 years driving experience. Experience of using a digital tachograph would be an advantage but training would be provided for the right applicant. Towing experience would be an advantage but training would be provided for the right applicant
Successful applicant will be required to attend various courses with our training providers.
